Purchased this for my 3yr old son in combination with a 3 piece set of Automoblox mini vehicles. Aside from inherent value as a cool looking and decently constructed toy, my son is captivated by the ability to disassemble and reassemble his automobiles. He rarely mixes them up, as it is not his nature, but the parts are easily interchangeable. This fact makes for an entertaining puzzle when all the vehicles’ parts are heaped in a pile for the child to reassemble.
The quality of the materials and workmanship appears topnotch. My only concern would be the longevity of the connections that bind the wheels to the chassis. My son manages to occasionally pop a wheel off during the course of normal play. No problem, he now understands the concept of fixing a flat.
I would definitely recommend this product to a child or adult who enjoys cars… I routinely find myself playing with them when they aren’t in my son’s grasp.

High quality
My 4 year-old boy tends to destroy plastic toys in short order. So, I don't mind paying a bit more for wooden toys. He loves playing with these cars; they come apart and parts can be switched around with other cars.
nice LITTLE car
I bought this to give to a little boy as a present but when it arrived it was much smaller than it appeared on the computer screen (I should've looked at the dimensions first!). I expected it to be bigger than it was so I ended up not giving it as a gift. I am pretty happy I did that though because my 4 year old daughter loves the car. She takes it apart each time she is done playing with it and puts it in the garage. Very well made toy, just wish it wasn't soo small.
2.5 y.o. loves it!
My son, who is 2.5 y.o. right now, loves this toy. He takes it apart, and puts it together. The toy is very durable, which is a very good thing, since my son plays with it a whole lot, and is pretty rough with it at times. You have to watch out though: my son tried putting the wheels in his mouth when he was a little younger.

Automoblox Rox!!!
Automoblox are a great toy, my son loves creating new cars all the time. My only issue with them is the price is kind of high!! A price point around [...] would be a lot better.

This set is great! I bought it for my daughter’s kindergarten class and they love it. It has been in the classroom for about 2 months now and it has held up to constant play without any problems. Plus it was a great price. It is not “pretty” if you’re building a model dollhouse but if you want something kids can play with constantly without breaking, this is the set for you.

Excellent dollhouse or castle furniture
Our wooden castle came with no furniture. It's so hard to find castle furniture. These fit perfectly with the castle dolls. Feels very well made and durable.
I prefer Plan Toys after seeing both
After ordering both, I'm returning the RR sets for Plan Toys sets. RR sets are made in China, the wood isn't as soft and has that chemically treated smell (not super strong, but the PT sets have no odor whatsoever). You can see the glue, too. Plan Toys are just better all around. They don't farm out their labor and they are a very green company. Although I must admit, you can't beat how many pieces you get in a RR set and they are faaaaaaaar better than anything plastic! Also, incase you were wondering like me, the woods with both brands are so similar in color that they mix well. :)

These puppets take about 15-20 minutes to build with my 2.5 yr old daughter. This by itself makes it worth the buy, because she is so focused the entire time, it is such a joy to watch. Plus, there is a whole pretend play side to it…We have names for all the puppets she made and she goes around talking and playing with these paper puppets just like her stuffed toys. Yes, the puppets wear out after a while, but it is just paper, so discarding them is actually much better option than adding it to her plastic toys in the closet. I thought that it was pricey (considering it is only paper bags) when I bought it; but I think there is so much value in this toy, it is totally worth it.

good paper craft

We had a blast!
Not only did we (me and my 7-year-old nephew) have fun making the puppets (which is easy and fun to do, but does require an adult or someone 10 or over to follow directions), but we also had fun having a puppet show afterwards! These things are sturdy too. Besides the lion's eye falling off (which we glued back on) these puppets have lastest through three months of play!

I bought this for my just turned 6 year old son and was worried he wouldn't like it. He LOVES it!!! He asked for a craft project and it was hard finding him something that wasn't too "girly". This kit is truly unisex and is really nicely made---everything in it is great quality and it comes with very easy to follow instructions to guide non-readers. He is able to make these puppets without any help from us and it's fun to see him have pride in his finished product. This is a wonderful kit to keep the kiddos busy and exercise their creative side. Now I can't wait for him to put on a puppet show for us!!

Loved it
My grandchildren, being 3 and 4, needed help, but there was a lot they could do on their own. They loved these puppets and played with them for hours. They were very proud to take them home and show as their project with Granny.

I got this for my 3 year old. We only used it once so far and she did have fun with it but the pieces don’t stick as well as I thought they would. They stick to the wall pretty good, but not as well to each other so the clothes don’t stay on as well. I have a tub that isn’t completely flat so theres limited space where she can stick them and to play on the wall, she would have to stand (not a good thing for a 3 year old).
The mesh bag is way too small and I can see how someone ripped a piece pulling it out of the bag. It should be twice the size. i gave it 4 stars because I think the idea is great and even though it’s not quite what I expected, it’s still a very fun toy.

Daughter loves this toy!
We got this bath toy several days ago and my daughter who is 2.5 years old has been asking to play with it every day. She not only plays during bath time, but she also asks us to pour some water in a pail and sticks the figures and clothes for half an hour outside bath time. I was surprised how well everything sticks and stays in place - only a few pieces fell overnight. Sticking to the tub was my biggest concern when we got this toy, so I was happy to see how it works. I got the cars set as well. I am very happy with the purchase!
Fun bath toy for preschoolers
We bought the Alex Fashion in the tub for our 4 1/2 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves playing with it. The characters stick to the wall fairly well and the clothes stick to the doll very nicely. The mesh bag hangs easily. I did notice some brown on the backside of some pieces, perhaps from water soaking into the foam? We just opened these a week ago and she's used them twice, so it can't be mildew (doesn't look like it anyway). But it only affects a few of them and only on the backside. Overall, I'm very happy with these and glad we bought them.

My daughter received this toy as a gift about a year ago (age 7). She plays with it all the time. My 3 year old loves it too. The quality of the material is very good and it sticks well to the tile. She has loved it so much that I purchased it for three of her friends for Christmas.

Don't do it! Huge disappointment, won't stay together!
The kids have wanted this since last spring, and I thought it was too expensive for a water toy. I waited, and right at back-to-school time the price dropped, so I ordered it. I gave it as a first-day-of-school present.
With great excitement, everyone put their bathing suits on, we filled balloons, following the instructions exactly.
We were so disappointed. The ball wouldn't stay together. Not with a balloon, not without a balloon, it wouldn't stay together. That defeats the purpose of the whole toy, it's not a ball you can throw if it is two halves of plastic that won't stay together. Huge disappointment. Save your money.
And by the way, I rarely write negative reviews, but this was a real stinker, and I would hate to have someone spend their money and be disappointed like we all were.
don't spend your money on this.
It sounds like fun but it isn't. It's poorly made, doesn't go together well, the timer is hard to operate and it just overall sucks rotten eggs. just get traditional balloons.
wanted to love it but. . .
This toy is ok, can't say I would buy it again. We have never made it to the timer going off b/c the ball always falls on the ground and breaks before that (my kids are younger & not that skilled with catching lol). That kinda takes the fun out of it for them.
Splash out
My kids love playing with this but the ball comes apart alot when being tossed and timer stops if even slighltly twisted. Also if the ball is dropped the water balloon pops. I think it could have been designed better, so that the balloon didn't pop if dropped and so the ball would stay together when thrown.
fun, but breaks easily
My daughter received this toy as a gift for her 5th birthday, along with 100 water balloons! It is lots of fun, but requires Mom or Dad to spend 30 minutes filling up the balloons and teaching the kids how to put it all together, which is not easy. Since the balloon breaks when it is dropped, the kids get frustrated since no one gets splashed. The timer in ours broke as well from being dropped so now we have lots of water balloons. I'd forego the ball and just buy balloons!

This was one of the presents I bought for my son’s 2nd birthday. I’ll admit feeling a little bad that most of the toys I got him were really homework. That turned out to be great. He loved mastering his finger skills with this toy. The wooden “needle” makes it great for a younger toddler. At this age, he also loves dragging the train of vehicles behind him, pretending it’s snake, playing with the cars individually, naming and talking about the vehicles, their purpose, their colors. He’s almost 2.5 now, he likes to act out scenes to go with the vehicles: eating ice cream, towing, etc. And, it fits in a smaller zip storage bag, so it’s great for on the go, since you can string it on your lap, or spread the cars individually on the floor. I’m about to pack it for a trip to the hospital, and I thought I’d come on here and give it an A+ review.
The only thing is that the paint is chipping, which would be worrisome if you child still mouths toys, but for a child younger than two, you’d probably need to help anyway, so you could probably keep the toys out of the mouth.

Lots of possibilities
I bought this for my 23 month old for a 6 hour flight. It was not the very best choice, as it has a bunch of smaller pieces. But, when I let him play with 3-5 of the vehicles at a time, we had less dropping and searching. He isn't as impressed with actually lacing them yet, but he LOVES all of the different cars and talking about the traffic at the stoplight, etc. Overall, I'm glad I got it.
So pleased
Although my cousin was only turning 1, he immediately pointed at the cars and wanted to play with them. It's eye catching! He loved watching us bead the cars on the string. It was fun for everyone and I'm sure will bring many more years of playing/learning.
Just What I Was Looking For
I bought this for my 2 yr. old granddaughter. Having the wooden dowel at the end of the string made her first stringing experience much easier. Within a day she had learned how to string all the wooden vehicles herself. Even my 4 yr. old granddaughter enjoyed playing with this, although instead of stringing the wooden vehicles, she used them as pretend play. The items were all well made. I would definitely recommend this item.
Cute, chunky beads for refining fine motor skills
These beads are bright, cute and durable. My sons loved the car/truck shapes, though that didn't mean they loved stringing the beads for more than a few minutes at a time. I especially like the wooden tip to the string, which makes it easy for little fingers to learn how to string the beads.

I bought this doll for my daughter when she was 9 months old, and she became attached to it instantly. She’s two and a half now, and Miss Rose is still by far her favorite doll or stuffed animal, though she now has many others. She never goes to bed without her Miss Rose. She loves to kiss and cuddle it, feed it bottles, and pack it around. When she’s feeling insecure she holds Miss Rose up to her face, nose to nose.
I’ve washed it in the washing machine about a dozen times and even put it in the dryer on low heat several times. Some of the eye paint has wore away, which I think is because my daughter has a tendency to scratch at the eyes. Otherwise the doll looks like new.
I’ve recommended it to several of my friends and given it away as a gift. It’s very soft and cuddly, and the small size is perfect for a very young child. My only complaint is that Corolle doesn’t make it in more than one color. (A friend of mine just had twin girls.)

favorite soft doll
This little doll is just the right size for tiny hands to hold. My 3 1/2 year old often plays with her during quiet times and the baby also likes to hold her. This is a very simple soft doll and often children do like the simple, classic toys. I think this Corolle design has been around a long time and my kids really like it.
Too Small and Plain
I was very disappointed in the size of the doll for the price. (They must've measured from the tip of the head to the underside of the toes.) Although our 1-yr-old granddaughter plays with the doll, she prefers another that has bright eyes and a bit of a smile; this little doll just has no personality. Very sweet but not a favorite.
Miss Rose is very cute....
This will be a first doll for our new granddaughter. Looked for a doll for a newborn and found Miss Rose. Our granddaughter is due in January,2010. The doll is small, soft and very cute. Miss Rose is for 0+(newborn) and machine washable. I believe her face is made of a soft vinyl material, her clothes are sewn secure with no small buttons or parts. Her clothes are extra soft and she smells good. Hope our new baby girl loves her, Miss Rose is very cute.

Adorable!
I bought this doll for my 9 month old daughter. Originally I thought she would have been a little bigger, but it is absolutely adorable! So soft and cuddly and perfect for my little girl. The face is soft and has vivid blue eyes. I think this is a perfect doll for a little girl.

We used this craft for the little girls to do for my daughters 5th princess birthday party. all the little girls loved it and were so excited.
